Earl Doner Obituary
Born Oct. 30, 1934, in Allegany, he was the son of Earl Doner Sr. and Ida Doner. He was the oldest of four children. On Dec. 10, 1955, in Ischua, he married Joan A. Lewis.
Earl was a graduate of Hinsdale Central School, Class of 1953.
Earl and his wife Joan owned and operated a dairy farm on Dutch Hill Road for many years.
He was a member of both the Ischua Volunteer Fire Department and the Ischua Union Church. He also served on the Hinsdale Central School Board for many years.
Earl and his wife Judy enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winter months, visiting family, attending basketball games at St. Bonaventure University and watching the Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed life to its fullest, especially being outdoors, camping and tinkering on farm machinery.
Surviving are two daughters, Deborah (James) Karn and Diane (Eric) Clayson, both of Ischua; a sister, Donna (Wayne) Woodruff; two brothers, Larry (Nancy) Doner and James "Jim" (Priscilla) Doner; six grandchildren, Katie (Michael) Meyers, SueEllen (Allen) Scott, Kurt (Emily) Karn, Christopher (Kelly) Clayson, Matthew Clayson and Brandon Clayson; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joan Doner; and his parents, Earl Doner Sr. and Ida Doner.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville.
