Fay Cary Obituary
Fay was born March 29, 1929, in Elmira, N.Y. He was a longtime owner of a lumber and building supply store.
He loved traveling with his wife and was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include four children, Robert Cary (Lisa) of Moorpark, Calif., Daniel Cary of Alpharetta, Ga., Deborah Bartlett (Ron) of Enterprise and William Cary (Anna) of Italy; a daughter-in-law, Beth Cary of Coral Springs, Fla.; a brother, Roger Cary (Pauline) of Corning, N.Y.; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay Edward and Agnes Anderson Cary; his wife of 58 years, Barbara Teague Cary; one brother and one sister.
The family thanks Dayspring Hospice as well Ann McClenny for their loving, compassionate care.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, Ga.
