I served with Alan in Ft. Lewis and did several training exercises with him, We seemed to be always "in the field" but we didn't mind. Away from the barracks and on a Mountain top somewhere calling in Fire Support. He was a good friend I kept in touch with and recently I realized I hadn't heard from him in a while..., until I googled this and am tears thinking about him. I miss you Brother - Thanks for some great memories and making the ARMY life that much more enjoyable.

Rest in Peace Alan!

Having Al has a neighbor brought many memories over about 30 years. He had such a good heart for everyone. We had a lot of fun years when he took it upon himself to make sure my car was taken care of and serviced which continued many years until his health declined.
May God bless George, Terry, Brian, and your families in this time of sorrow.
