We belatedly just want to say THANK YOU to Audrey for being such a friend to animals and to us. She gave her life to further the cause of kindness to ALL animals and did whatever she could to help. If only we would all follow her example, this world would be a MUCH more compassionate place. Audrey, I'm sure you're surrounded now by all the furry friends who were waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. Enjoy, and know you will be missed.

Audrey set the example of what we all can only hope to become. She cared about so many things from animals to the environment. She was a well known community leader in the fight to help animals and make Omaha a better place to live. Sing with the angels Audrey, you deserve it.

Thank goodness for memories! I will miss our discussions of articles that we read in the New Yorker magazines and of books that we thought were great. Audrey, we didn't have enough time together.

Audrey Wright-Anderson will be greatly missed by her friends in the rescue community. Audrey was a friend and a mentor. I will miss her humor, her willingness to help, and her compassion for ALL animals. Audrey, I know you are now sitting with all of your babies who left this earth before you. Thank you for your wisdom, your compassion, and your guidance. Your friend always, Laurie

Dear family of Audrey, I will miss Audrey very much. How i enjoyed the long phone talks we shared. We had so many things in common. History, animals, recipes and so many other subjects. She will always have a space in my heart till I meet her in Heaven. How she loved animals. She shared so much history with me about her father who was a Dr. and how she loved him so. I especially remember how much she would talk of her husband and how wonderful he was to her. God bless her family. Colleen

Audrey will be missed sorely by those who loved her - animals and her fellow animal rescuers. She did more for animals that most people can ever imagine.

Who knows how many thousands of animals (and hundreds of their companion humans) Audrey helped.
