Barbara Walsh Obituary
January 6, 1936 - May 17, 2024
Preceded in death by loving husband, Ronald; daughter, Lisa Marie; and parents. Survived by: children, John (Fran), Rick (Molly) and Brian (Sue); 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many loving family and friends.
VISITATION: Monday, May 20, 2024, at Roeder Mortuary 108th Chapel, 6 to 7 p.m. with ROSARY SERVICE: 7 p.m. FUNERAL MASS: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday May 21, 2024, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6905 Blondo Street, Omaha, NE 68104. Luncheon immediately following service and then burial at Calvary Cemetery to follow. Memorials to St. Pius X School.

Barb is so missed. She is one of the most compassionate people that I know. My condolences to her family who she is so devoted to and loves so much. She has such a hunger for knowledge and kept her mind active. She did so much for her community volunteering for political campaigns and years ago visiting shut-ins from church. Prior to the pandemic, she was still working as a home health aid. Before becoming mother, she was studying to be a teacher. When she had her first child, she wanted to focus on her child as that was all she cared about in comparison to her education at that point. Later, she took a test and worked as a teacher's aid. Her personality is warm and outgoing as well as fun.

My dearest sympathy to the family and friends of Barb. Barb was a caring and upfront person who spoke to me with truth, but loving words. Barb was a fun loving lady who enjoyed life and I always enjoyed by visits with her. I know all of you will person this special lady. Vileen Smid
