Survived by wife, Beverly; brother, Dean and wife Mary Ann, Omaha; sisters, Jacqueline and husband Ed Richey, Crete, NE; Donna and husband Rich Whisenand, St. Paul, MN; Sharon and husband David Barthuly, Bellevue; Carol Austin, Goose Creek, SC; many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 5-7pm at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, Bellevue. FUNERAL SERVICE Friday, October 4, 11am at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, Bellevue, NE. Interment, Bellevue Cemetery. Memorials to the family. BELLEVUE MEMORIAL CHAPEL

I remember Billy giving my sisters and I rides on his cool electric wheelchair when we were kids. He always made us laugh with his Donald Duck voice. We were so happy when he and Beverly got married and would have fun with them on the Police Radio when Tom and I worked. I'm so sorry for your loss.I will miss my friend.

Bill has been an inspiration to sooo many throughout his life. Not one to accept limits to what he could do from a wheelchair, but what he could do to move forward! He had a great family, friends, wife, co-workers, and prayer warriors (I wish we'd taken the opportunity to meet you, Bev) - all had a hand in encouraging and believing in this great man! God has blessed us by knowing him! RUN, Bill, RUN!
