Galloway, Charles Lee

November 11, 1944 - July 18, 2022

Age 77. Born to Boyd V. and Julia V. Galloway. Graduated from Omaha Technical High School in 1962 and attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He was a Vietnam Veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart Medal. He was a Master Electrician and retired from the Omaha Public Power District. He was congregational President of Hope Lutheran Church in Omaha and was an actor in several plays at the local John Beasley Theatre.

Preceded in death by parents, Boyd V. and Julia V. Galloway. He is survived by wife, Veronica Galloway; siblings, JoAnne Sanders and Boyd V. Jr; children: Charles (Marianne) Galloway Jr., Brian (Angela) Galloway, Julia Galloway, and their mother, Delores Galloway; dear friends, Reginald Young Sr. and Rita Young; step-children: Lora (Anthony) Proctor, and Danielle Eden (Jerome Woody); grandchildren: Dillon, Madeline, Aidan and Julian Galloway, and Markiss, Ronald, and Jazmyne Proctor; and a host of other loving family and friends.

VISITATION: 8am, Saturday, July 23, Hope Lutheran Church, 2723 N. 30th St., Omaha, NE 68111. SERVICE begins at 9am. Send condolences to Roeder Mortuary.

My name is Joe Saintclair. I knew Charles years ago in the 1960s. I played golf with him at a tournament and I ruined on a boat with him and his father and almost learn to waterski. I´m sorry I missed this message. Charles was still alive. we were good friends. I loved him. I send condolences to the family even after a couple years and let you know that give me a cool dude, God bless you all
