Preceded in death by mother Emma Gainer; father Claude Thomas Metcalf, Sr.; sister Jean Hughes; best friend and brother-in-law Ronald Hughes; and son Terrence Scott Metcalf. Survived by wife Sandy Metcalf; sons, Gary (Lori) Metcalf, and Ron (Laurie) Metcalf; daughters, Pattie Hutchings, and Kelly Metcalf; grandchildren, Sarah, Corey, Justin and Jennifer Metcalf, and Colton, Shelby and Brenda Hutch-ings; great grandchildren, Cayden, Brandon, and Sawyer; uncle Virgil Orso; sister Vicky Crane; niece Sheri Hughes Petello; and nephew Terry Hughes. 52-year Member of IBEW, Local 22.
SERVICES Wednesday 12:15pm at the 72nd St. Chapel, processing to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church for 1pm service. Interment Voss-Mohr Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday 5-7pm, with a Wake Service at 7pm, all at the John A. Gentleman 72nd St. Chapel. Memorials to Nebraska Humane Society. VIEWING begins Tuesday 5pm at John A. I am so sorry to hear about Claude's death. All of the Manzer's family did not find out until today. We are all still greving from losing our mother Dorothy last month. We all feel bad about not getting to say our good-bys to Claude. My sister Nellie (Twink) and I will make a trip to the grave site to say good by. We don't have a way to talk to you. Vickey will you please call one of the Manzer's We don't have a number to get you.
