He is survived by his parents, Tonya R. Coleman and Davy Coleman Sr.; wife, Erica (Keshia) Coleman, and his children that he adored: Davy Coleman III, Ky'Airah Coleman, Zoey Coleman, and Kennedy Coleman
CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: 11am Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Forest Lawn.

When I first heard this news I was very saddened...to see a man so young pass..but then I started reading all the wonderful things about him, his family, kids, music, humor....all the lives he touched... I remember back in the mall, rolling Cinnabon's, jamming to Davy's "mix" cds, Keisha and Davy having their cute teenage love bloom for all of us to see...taking a chance on a determined young man, usually too young to hold a management position...I was so proud of my crew! Led a lot of times by you, Mr Coleman...Rarely a complaint...exceptional attention to detail...perfect Cinnabon's EVERY TIME!...how lucky I was to have such a crew...
Keisha, I don't know all the details, but I am sure of one thing...you will now be a different woman...be strong and feel peace In Jesus' name, mama...focus on those beautiful babies you and he helped bring to this world...their purpose must be extraordinary!!

I´ve been speechless and still can´t find all my words. You were more than my cousin you were my little brother it´s so hard to even type And you know I always had something to say lol. You were younger than me but you protected me like you were my big brother, your spirit was so bright I can´t ever remember a time u were ever mad and if u were you would put all your emotions into your music your lyrics were out of this world. I can't think of Davey without thinking of Taja! I have never had two students who were so close as siblings...I saw them last year when they organized a park cleanup.
