Earl Maddy Obituary

MADDY-Earl W., age 83, Council Bluffs, died 7/11/06. He was a graduate of University of Nebraska earning a Bachelors and Masters degree in Education. He taught for 30 years in the Council Bluffs Public Schools, retiring in 1979. Earl served his country for 4 years in WWII in the Army Air Corps. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nellie and Arch Maddy and daughter, Susan. Survivors include his wife, Joan; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Barry Smith of Omaha, Mrs. Smith is longtime teacher at Hoover Elementary School.
GRAVESIDE SERVCES Wed 2pm, Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to the Council Bluffs Animal Control and Shelter, 2821 S. 15th St., Council Bluffs. Family and friends will meet at the Cemetery. CUTLER-O'NEILL-MEYER-WOODRING
