Edward Lee Bundy Sr.

BUNDY-Edward Lee, Sr., age 82, died February 26, 2008, in Omaha, NE. Formerly a resident of Des Moines, IA for 55 years, Mr. Bundy was born in Hannibal, MO and had lived in Des Moines, IA since 1946. He retired from his construction business of 49 years. Mr. Bundy was a member of Teamsters union and served in World War II as Seabee of US Navy for three years. He was a member of VFW and serve as commander of the Roy Leonard Post for 10 years. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mabel E.; son, Edward, Jr.; mother, Helen Longmire Woods; father, George Edward Bundy, Sr.; sister, Mary Helen Houston; brothers, Harry C. Woods, Jr., Louis Lamb and George Bundy, Jr. Survived by sons, Morris Raymone Bundy, Sr., Sacramento, CA, Vernon Bundy, Des Moines, IA; daughters, Janice E. Franklin, Carole AB Jorden (Joseph), both Omaba, NE; sisters, Evelyn Avant, Gary, ID, Dorothy Clark, Sarah Houston, Charlotte Bueford and Marlene Shivers, all Des Moines, IA; brother, James Woods, Los Angeles, CA, 17 grandchildren, host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives, dear friends.
