As i sit here today and remember this extradentary young man, i still see that smile he always had. There were very few days that weren't many days he would show the pain. I think about the years that have passed by and
try to picture the Handsome man he would be today and the adorable women by his side. He would be the same amazing man we all knew him as. To his incredible family, i know that each day there is something that
you smile at when you think of Ethan an something you are doing that reminds you that it was one of you that
was with him when something was said, had done, or simply made you smile. I wish you a continual and loving
remembrance of this incredible man we all think of to this day.

Grimm Family,
It is a thought that passes here and then. When i remember Ethan i smile. His laugh and amazing smile is the one thing that i remember most. I was lucky to one of those people to know him. It's hard to believe that it has almost 11years since this amazing young man was here. I'm sure that he watches over all of you with that smile and an occasional laugh. I bet he has shown everyone those amazing tattoo's to everyone. I think of you as well and hope that all of you are ok. All my thoughts and love to Tracy, Marci and Asia.

Im Kelli's friend, im really sorry to hear about the loss. But i had to write a poem about a the strongest person i know and i chose Ethan.

His name was Ethan.
He was a young kid who was just living life.
I didnt know he was.
But he was my close freinds cousin.

He was just a teenager having fun and hangin out with his freinds.
He had no worries really, just goto school and have
But there was a thing that held him back from living that great life fun.
It was cancer,

Why did he have to face this problem?
Why Him?
No one really knows why.
But what I know about this kid , he was a great kid.

Maybe its the best though he past away, now he is out of his pain.
But we all dont think it was the best choice, especially the family.
But may god be with him.
Yes, Ethan is only a teenager and lives far away.

Yes, I never met the kid but he is my idol because he was a teenager who has faught and tried beating cancer.
So, R.I.P Ethan you will be missed

Marcy, Tracy & Asia,
We are so saddened to hear of your loss. Ethan was so special to Dylan at Children's Corner when they were 4 and 5. I remember reading them a favorite book then called "Oh the Places You'll Go". They loved that book and just playing together. I'm so glad Ethan and Dylan got to see each other when they were in 6th grade at the baseball game at St Alberts. I took pictures of them together and will send you a copy.
You are very much in our prayers this Easter and always. May God comfort you and may all of you and Ethan find peace in God's love. He was and still is a great spirit among us all.
God Bless You

Marcy & family,

I am sorry to hear of Ethan's passing. I know these years have been difficult and joyful, and you will always have your memories while Ethan watches over you from heaven. I am praying for you.

Please Don't Cry

Daddy please don't look so sad
Mommy please don't cry
Cause I am in the arms of Jesus
and He sings me lullabies.

Please try not to question God
Don't think He is unkind
Don't think he sent me to you
And then he changed his mind.

You see, I am a special Child
And I am needed up above
I'm the special gift you gave to him
The product of your love.

I'll always be there with you
And watch the sky at night
Find the brightest star that's gleaming
That's my halo shining bright.

You'll see me in the morning frost
That mists your windowpane
That's me, in the summer showers
I'll be dancing in the rain.

When you feel a gentle breeze
From a gentle wind that blows
That's me! I'll be there
Planting a kiss upon your nose.

When you see a child playing
And your heart feels a little tug
That's me! I'll be there
Giving your heart a hug.

So, Daddy please don't look so sad
Mommy don't you cry
I'm in the arms of Jesus
And He sings me lullabies.

Although I didn't know Ethan personally, I was deeply saddened by his passing. I have umpired Ethan in baseball for the last 4-5 years when I work St. Alberts games.

I woke up this morning reading the OWH as I always do, and as we all know when you get older you gravitate toward the obituaries (something we didn't do when we were younger), and saw his picture and name and recognized him. I had no idea he was fighting cancer, while playing baseball, for the last 9 years.

Ethan didn't hit the ball farther than everyone, or run faster, but his LIGHT certainly shone as bright as anyones on the field, and thats how I'll remember him.

As baseball is getting ready to start up in the area, I will take time before each St. Alberts game I umpire, to honor Ethan with a silent tribute before the first pitch.

May God Take Good Care Of Ethan Grimm

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
