Born in Philadelphia, PA. Served in WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War. Survived by wife Fran; sons, Fred J. Held, IV and wife Theresa, Richard S. and wife Debbie, Chris R. and wife Joan S.; daughters, Aliss and husband Michael Beveridge, Julie Heeren and husband Craig, Liz Stromath and husband David, Melanie M. Held; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Private Family Services. In lieu of memorials please do something nice for a friend.

It was great knowing Fred and enjoy playing bridge at the Center Mall with or against him. Always fun to be around.
