Genevieve Arlene Gibbs, 22 days, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Children's Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born on December 23, 2024, at Jennie Edmondson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa to parents Sarah Lembke and Chad Gibbs. Genevieve was a happy baby.
Genevieve is survived by her parents; three brothers, Elliott, Grayson, and Tucker Lembke; grandparents, Carissa Summerfield of Dunlap, Iowa, and Jeff (Brooke Hoover) Bevar of Dayton, Iowa; and many other relatives.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap, Iowa. Pastor Aaron Terwilleger presided over the service. The musical selections were "Heaven" by Beyonce, "See You Again" by Fast & Furious, "Dancing in the Sky" by Dani and Lizzy, and "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum. Genevieve's final resting place is at the Dow City Cemetery.

Just want to say that little miss Genevieve is missed more than she will ever get to know by her ENTIRE family including the ones who never even got to truly meet her. She was perfect in every way from photos seen and she will forever stay that way without ever needing to suffer and real humanly caused pain! For that is the ONLY consolation I have and reason for this terrible accident
