He was 97 years young!
Herbert was from Nebraska City, Lincoln, Australia, Antarctica, Washington, D.C, Omaha and in recent years, Linden View and Good Samaritan in Syracuse, NE.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Roper & Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr., Lincoln, Neb. Service livestreaming will be available.
An interment of ashes will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Omaha National Cemetery.
