On behalf of the Lincoln Memorial Day Observance Association (LMDOA) we would like to express our sincere sympathy on the loss of your loved one. A man of great courage who served in our nation’s military , so that we may have the freedoms we enjoy in America today. Each year, a Candlelight Vigil is held on Memorial Day night at the Antelope Park Veterans Memorial Garden, 30th and “A” Street in Lincoln. At this time, all names of veterans of our Armed Forces, in Lancaster County, who passed away since the last Memorial Day Candlelight Service, are read in a solemn ceremony. Hyle's name will be read at this time. We invite you to come out for this service and bring your family and friends. (Bring lawn chairs)

We were so saddened to hear about the death of Coach Thibault. The Ravenna Class of 1954 will always remember his positive personality and pleasant manner. I hope we in some way let him know how important he was in the lives of all the students he taught. We truly enjoyed his and Martha's presence at our 50th Class Reunion. Marti, Julie, Holly, & the rest of the Thibault family:
I was saddened to hear the news about Red. He was a good guy, and had such a warm, energetic and friendly way about him. I remember him coming to the AOII house on football Saturdays. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of sorrow and adjustment. You'll miss him a lot in many ways, and be reminded of him every day in some various way. I pray that God's peace and your great memories of Red comfort you.

Dear Thibault Family,
I first meet Red when I was a small boy. Our family spent many 4th of July's with his family on the farm. Those celebrations are my favorite childhood memories. I remember Red setting up the boat motor on the pontoon dock so we could fish the middle of the pond. I remember Frank bringing down the horse so we all could ride. I ran into Red again about ten years ago at the bank in Dundee. We were able to share some great stories. He was always such a warm and friendly man. Your family is a big part of mine and my children hear my stories of what a great time I had at the farm all of the time.

My deepest sympathy go to you all. I know this comes from all of the Hallas extended family.

Expressing heartfelt sympathy in the loss that you must bear, and may you find comfort in knowing that others care. My memories of Mr. Thibault go back when he and Mrs. Thibault were young teachers at Ravenna High School. I was a senior and they both were my favorites. Recently we renewed our friendship through e-mail. For this-I am grateful. With love, Nadine (Calvin) Cook

We little knew that evening God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone, for part of us went with you.
The day God called you home, you left us beautiful memories.
Your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our friendship chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
A trip to Omaha will never be the same.
