James Rawlings Obituary

James (Jim, Jimmy, JR) L. Rawlings Jr., age 76, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. Jim was born in Omaha, Nebraska.

Preceded in death by his father James Sr. and mother Helen; brother Karl and his wife Patricia; brother Dennis; nephew Jeff; aunt Nell; brother-in-law Ed; and mother-in-law Carol.

Jim is survived by wife Rhonda; daughter Heather and her husband Mark; sister Judy and niece Jenny; cousin Lesa; nieces and nephews Mary, Suzanne, Joanna, and Raymond and all of their precious families in Maryland; niece Cristen, Christine and her husband Steve.

VISITATION Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. PRIVATE FAMILY BURIAL at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
