Jerry: Oct. 25, 1936 – Aug. 26, 2025

Jerry and Janet are survived by their children, Joan (Randy) Johnson, James Zulfer, Colonel John (Michelle) Zulfer, retired, and Jill (Paul) Clausen; grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Andrew (Amanda) Johnson, Emily Johnson, Dr. Meagan Zulfer, and Riley Zulfer; great-granddaughter, Caroline Johnson; Janet's sister, Sheryl Mertz.

MEMORIAL SERVICE, Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 7301 N. 28th Ave., Omaha. VISITATION, Thursday, Sept. 11th, from 5 to 8 p.m., also at church. INURNMENT at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Additional information on funeral home website.
