Preceded in death by wife, Betty Lou; parents, John and Wytske Blauw; sister, Jeanette Blauw. Survived by loving wife, Donna; lovingly missed by his daughter, Merrilou (Douglas) Klug; his son, Brian (Kathy) Blauw; his stepdaughters, Marsha Crain, Leslie (Blair) Van Briesen; sister, Winifred Bailey; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a large loving family.
Memorial Service Tues. 7pm at 72nd Street Chapel. Gathering of family and friends begins Tues. at 5:30pm, also at 72nd Street Chapel. Private inurnment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha. Memorials will be sent to the Ardis Buffington Scholarship Fund at the Methodist School of Nursing. JOHN A. GENTLEMAN MORTUARIES

Grew up with John and winnifred. Just was thinking of Johnny and brought up his name to see an obit. We grew up on 45th Street across from Fontanelle Park. I am Allene Perkins (now Allene Howell)

We just learned of John's death and wanted you to know how much we loved him. He had a way of lighting up the whole place and always had ONLY kind and positive words. We will miss and remember him always.
