Joe passed on February 23, 2020 and Pat passed on December 29, 2023.
Their MEMORIAL SERVICE will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 8th, at Saint Bernadette Church, at 7600 South 42nd St, Bellevue NE. INTERMENT immediately following, at Saint John's Cemetery, at 7506 South 36th St, Bellevue. A reception will be held at Moran's Grill, 3909 Twin Creek Drive, Bellevue, from 1 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Women's Center for Advancement, info at wcaomaha.org.

Is Joe Stanek related to a John Stanek who was a security officer for the South Omaha Richman Gorman Store in the 1950's and possible 1960's? He had a good friend name Jack Pfeffer I believe. My Aunt Pat and Uncle Joe were very special people in my life. In my younger years I grew up near them and any chance I had I would be at their house. They treated me as if I was one of their kids. I loved them both so much! I would baby sit for them when needed.
The two of you are the best Aunt and Uncle a girl could ask for!
You will always be in my heart!

Does anyone know if Joseph Stanek is related to a John Stanek, who was a cab driver in the mid 1950's and possibly a security guard at the South Omaha Richman Gordman store. I remember John Stanek had a good friend named Jack Pfeffer, who also drove a cab. My condolences to the Joseph Stanek family on your loss. Donn Kaplan Las Vegas, NV
