Dike, Julia A. "Judy"
Age 84
Lincoln, formerly of Omaha, passed away peacefully Wednesday (3-10-10). She was born to Andrew and Marie (Reicks) Beiermann on July 25, 1925 in Raeville, Nebraska. She spent numerous years employed as a presser for Pendleton Woolen Mills in the old jobber's canyon of Omaha and many dry cleaners in numerous cities in which she resided. She and her late husband Marvin moved throughout their lives traveling where the railroad took them: North Platte; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Northglenn, Colorado; Ogden, Utah; and finally with retirement--back to Omaha and Lincoln. Survivors: Son and Daughters-in-law: Jack Dike and Karen Doyle, Lincoln, Karen K. Dike, Lincoln, Annette Dike, Bellevue, Grandchildren: Douglas, Steven, James Richard, Jacob, Miranda, Emily, Ian, Andrew, Elizabeth, Erin, Great-Grandchildren: Devin, Autumn, Lara, Charlie, Carter, Sisters and Brother-in-law: Della Martin, Columbus, Patricia and Roy Robinson, Hallesville, Texas, Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in Death By: Husband: Marvin R. Dike, Sons: Robert L. Dike, Edward W. Dike, Gerald Breeden, Parents: Andrew and Marie Beiermann, Brother and Sister-in-law: Sylvester and Wanda Beiermann.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Saturday (3-13-10) at St. Peter's Catholic Parish, 4500 Duxhall Drive. Father Michael Christiansen officiating. Rosary: A Rosary will be said at 7:30pm on Friday (3-12-10) at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street. VISITATION: Friday (3-12-10) from 9am-8pm with family greeting friends and relatives from 6-7:30pm. Interment: Graveside services will be held at 10am on Monday (3-15-10) at Floral Lawns Cemetery, North Platte. Memorials: St. Elizabeth Hospice, Charity of Donor's Choice. To all of Aunt Judy's family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I feel so very lucky to have had her in my life. She was an extrordinary woman and I will miss her wisdom, her stories and her laugh. Our thoughts and prayers to you.

My mother was Josie Druery & I was close to Judy. I never got to visit her after she moved to Lincoln but looked forward to getting her Christmas letters. She was a wonderful person & will be missed by all. My Grandmother was Kate Baumgartner, a sister to Judy"s Mother.
