Kathy or Kat as I knew her by brought "sunshine to my soul" and every other person she knew. I consider her my soul sister. I will miss her and and grieve her as will her family and friends. Yet grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith...It is the price of LOVE. I am a better person for knowing Kat. I love ya doll and sending my love and blessings to everyone's lives she touched. God Bless You All, Watch Over You and Give you Peace.

Dear Larsen/Thies Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Kathy. Though we haven´t seen each other for years now, I have many fond memories of her. We met when the "big" Thies family, big because you had more kids in your family than ours of six at the time, moved to Omaha. We met at St Paul. I remember with fondness our trips together on Saturdays to go downtown. We´d take the bus and spend the afternoon looking around at Brandeis department store, sit at the counter at Woolworths for some little treat and look in the window at Takechi´s jewelry store. Kathy had her eye on a ring there and I remember her saving up enough money to buy it :-)
In high school, Mrs Thies babysat our little brother, Mark. My brother Dick had a car so we´d drop Mark off at your house and take Kathy (and Paul?) to school. She always had a big smile, positive attitude and was tenacious. I can close my eyes even now and hear her infectious laugh!
Please accept my deepest sympathy and may God comfort you through these difficult times.
