Lewis Varney Obituary

Lewis Merlyn Varney, age 77, of Ralston. Lewis was born on September 12, 1947 in Mason City, Iowa to Howard and Bernice (Moore) Varney. Lewis died on Friday, July 18, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Southwest Church of the Nazarene. Lewis was a devoted husband, son, brother, and friend. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, wife Georgia, brother Bill, and sisters Venice (Jerry) Puffer and Minnie (Bob) Johnson. Lewis is survived by his sister Vila (Ralph) Emerson, and many relatives and friends. Burial service will occur on Friday, August 15 at 12:30 p.m. at the Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials may be provided to Southwest Church of the Nazarene or donor's choice. The Nebraska Cremation Society, 402-200-3366. nebraskacremation.com.
