Mark Gilbert Scheen passed away on March 23, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on April 16, 1963, in Melbourne, Florida, Mark lived a life marked by music, faith, and family.
Mark was a devoted member of King of Kings Church in Omaha, where they shared his musical talents as part of the worship team. Playing bass guitar, Mark contributed to the spiritual life of the congregation with dedication and heart. His presence on stage was not only a testament to his musicianship, but also to his commitment to his faith community.
Mark is lovingly remembered by his sons, Aaron (Samantha) Scheen and Steven Scheen; grandsons James Scheen, Adam Scheen, and Nicholas Scheen; brother Roger (Michelle) Scheen; and sister Sherry Grissino. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Scheen and mother Jean Scheen.
A memorial service honoring Mark's life will be held on April 10th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at King of Kings Church, located at 11615 I Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68137.

I was blessed to be on the King of King worship team with Mark for several years. He was musically talented for sure, but his strong quiet sharing of his faith made him a trusted friend and mentor. We join his family in mourning his loss, thankful that he now worships Jesus face to face.
