Max was the most influential person in my childhood besides my parents. He always believed in me and turned a no talent kid into someone who could play baseball. I had the time of my life playing baseball and he devoted so much time with me and my brother's teams. I wish I would have thanked him for that.

Betty, Mike, Stan, Bill and family...Our thoughts are with you during this sorrowful time. Max was such a wonderful person with an ornery smile that would light up a room. I'll never forget our coyote hunting weekends and the teasing he always used to give me, as well as all of the other memories of him growing up. Please turn to those of us that love you to help you through, to share as you remember him and to cherish those memories. He will be missed.

Dear Betty,Mike,Stan, & Families,
Words can not express the sorrow we all feel at this time. The candle will always burn bright in our hearts for Max. We will hold on tight to the good times forever. Although we do not see each other as often as we should, you all have been a big part of our lives. When I told Kim, she cried and said how Max was always so nice to her. And I know he was. I am thankful for that. I could write a book about all the fun times I had with Max when I was young and dumb. He taught me a lot about life. The memories I have will be with me forever. Betty I remember the day that we met up in the pasture and April was ready to be born. I had so much fun with Max when I was at that age. He told me April was mine to ride any time I wanted to. It was an awesome time in my life all thanks to Max and you. Turn to your friends and family to get through this, May the Light of the Lord guide you always, God Bless you all. Your friends forever. Jerry and Kim
