Max Eugene Rupe

January 9, 1930 - August 25, 2025

Max E. Rupe, age 95, of Omaha, passed away on August 25, 2025.

Born Jan. 9, 1930, in Ottumwa, IA. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, later earning his MBA and CPA. Max was married to Shirley (Speer) for 73 years, and together they shared a love of travel, family, and community. A Master Mason since 1961, he also enjoyed fishing, boating, and live entertainment.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two sisters.

MASONIC SERVICE: Tuesday, September 2, 2025, 11 a.m., with VISITATION beginning at 10 a.m., at West Center Chapel.

INTERMENT: Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to: Breakthrough Diabetes Chapter T1D (formerly Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF)) and the Nebraska Masonic Home, Plattsmouth, NE.
