Kathy, Stephanie, and Megan:
Our deepest condolences to the family, I was so sad to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was a good friend and mentor for 25 years teaching me so much about Omaha zoning and real estate. I will miss that laugh and wry smile but not his handwriting, so many hours spent trying to decipher his notes. He truly enjoyed life and loved his family. I will miss him greatly.

Kathy and Family,

We were saddened to hear the news of Mike’s passing. He had fought a hard fight. But we will remember him more for the special person he was, always bringing joy and wisdom to those around him. He truly made us all better. Each day, without hesitation, he shared some of his knowledge with us. He was a joy to be around. He made us laugh, he made us think, and he never made us scream. The world needs more men like him with the experience to do things right and ability to be humble when using it. We will miss him dearly.

Kathy and family,
Jan and I send our most sincere condolences for this great loss. Mike and I were buddies in grade school and high school, and fraternity brothers in college. We stayed in touch over the years through fraternity reunions, an adult beverage or two, and occasional lunches. Wish it would have been more. I don't recall ever having seen Mike without a smile on his face. He was the "life of the party", and if there wasn't a party, when he arrived there was.
It's a great loss for us all.
Gary and Jan Petersen
