Oct 19, 1938 - Aug 4, 2011
Age 72. Cedar Park, TX. Died at home with his family by his bedside. Preceded in death by his parents; 2 infant brothers. Survived by wife of 45 years, Mary Louise; 3 children; 3 grandchildren; sister, Mary A.; brother, Doug. Mike was born and raised in Omaha. He served in the Marine Corps and after his service graduated from UNL Law School. As an avid Cornhusker, he's now planning plays for the Big 10 Season with Coach Devaney.
Private Service will be Friday, August 12th. Memorial contributions can be made via check to Hospice Austin, 4107 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78759 or via the web at www.hospiceaustin.org/donate.

Mary and Family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was a great guy and a true gentleman. I know him and Jess are back together again raising holy heck and keeping Heaven on it's toes. I know they will have all the angels converted to Huker fans by the first game day this year! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all! Semper Fi!

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF MIKE'S DEATH. MANY GOOD TIMES WERE HAD WITH MIKE ON 40TH STREET IN OMAHA, AND ON LIBERTY IN THE MARINE CORPS. SO MANY STORIES HE PROBABLY TOLD THE FAMILY,AND SO MANY GREAT STORIES THAT WILL REMAIN UNTOLD. WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO PAY MY RESPECTS TO AN OLD JARHEAD FRIEND.
