Millard Blach Obituary
February 4, 1936 - May 5, 2023
Age 87 of Omaha. Passed away suddenly surrounded by his family. Millard was a graduate of Colorado State University, a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army, an avid golfer, and a longtime member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sherrill; and their five children, Marina (Bruce) Anderson, Julie (Mike) Miller, Kerry (Larry) Janecek, John (Susie) Blach, and Susan "Booch" (Dylan) Ward. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Katie, Cassie, Callie, Cole, Molly, Luke, Thomas, William, Matthew, Charles, Jake, Jenna, Spencer, Landon and Brady; and his siblings, Bethine Filion, Colleen Bates and Leonard Blach.
Family will Receive friends Wednesday, May 10th, from 5-7pm at West Center Chapel, with VIGIL SERVICE and ROSARY at 7pm. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Thursday, May 11th, 10:30am at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, or to the family.
