Nicholas Spanjer Obituary
December 22, 1987 - July 23, 2023
Surrounded by his family, Nicholas passed away peacefully at his home.
Always the entertainer, he loved to sing, dance, impersonate his favorite actors and re-enact movie lines. Nick worked and spent a lot of time at the Autism Center of Nebraska. He also enjoyed helping with the family business, Nebraska-Iowa Door.
His family was everything to Nick and he was beloved by many. Nick is survived by his father, Benedict Lee Spanjer; brothers, Benjamin (Sara) James Spanjer, Jacob (Yumi) Lee Spanjer; many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Annette Spanjer; grandparents, Juanita Engberg, Olin Spanjer, Julia and Richard Slagle.
Memorial Service 11 a.m. Monday, August 7th,at Westside Church, 15050 W Dodge Rd, Omaha, NE. Memorials can be sent to the Autism Center of Nebraska, 9012 Q St, Omaha, NE 68127. The service will also be livestreamed on the church's website at www.wchurch.tv

I have a lot of great memories of Nick but none will top the day we decided to pull a prank on the next person who walked through their front door (which happened to be Jake) by blasting Lenny Kravitz by "Fly Away" and dancing around. He always knew how to put a smile on my face. We´ll miss you, Nick!
