I will miss you Rilla. You were such an important part of our family. You always made it a priority to stay in touch with us. There are so few people that take the time or the effort to do that. Your loving spirit was evident in so many ways. I will miss emails from you and pictures of you with Warren Buffet. You maintained your beauty both inner and outer with such grace. It still doesn't register that you are gone. But I do know that you will never be forgotten, because your acts left a legacy on the rest of your family and that is the best measure of a person's life. I know I told you a week before you passed, but I love you my great aunt Rilla.

Aunt Orilla/ You filled in alot of" mother gaps "in my life, At important rites of pasage- graduation, marriage , births, deaths you were there. You came to see me play basketball, softball, came to parties, to see my new house(each time). You hit up your friends and acquaintances to sponsor me for pageants! I loved the talks we had on the phone in the last couple of years. The times you and Danny went to Sheri's at the lake. I have all these memories and more, Chihuahuas, Easter dresses, bonnets and little white gloves.dinners and holidays at the farm when I was little. Roses and beautiful figurines. The fancy lunches at the top of the Hilton. My heart aches, I want to see you one more time. You were a woman not afraid of her own power, confidant in her own abilities and opinions. You never missed a detail. I've corrected all the toilet paper dispencers and distibuted boxes of Kleenex and liquid soap per your instruction.HA,You were the cohesive force that glued everybody together,I kept track of the goings on in all our relatives lives through you. Who can fill this role? How can a life force so strong be extinguished? In 16 hours I could have told you these things, but it was time for you to go. I know you are with Raymond, and feel comfort in that. As my mom said"You were one class act!". I needed more time to prepare, to adjust. Some how I thought you'd beat the odds just one more time. I know it was childish, I just couldn't imagine a world without you. You are entwined in so many of my memories.Your wicked sense of humor will always make me smile .Love and gratitude from your loving neice, Kathy

You were like a Mother to me so many times during my life. You gave me advice and inspiration to be strong. You were a role model to many and your accomplishments were impressive, even though you had to endure some of life's most tragic events.

Your love of bridge and Joe Tess fish brought a smile to everyone's face and will not soon be forgotten. You created a beautiful family who loved you dearly and so many friends who will miss you.

It's difficult to say goodbye Aunt Rilla, but as you always said "Overcome what you can and endure what you must."

I know how terribly you missed Ray but I'm happy you are in heaven with him now. We will all miss you and will always love you very much.
