Dear Mrs. LeClair, and Pat’s entire family:

I just wanted to let you know that I am truly sorry for your loss! Although it's been many years since we've spoken, our families were very close in the past, especially through the relationship that my dad, Keith, and Pat's dad, Paul, had while working together at Travelers Insurance.

In addition to that, we grew up in the same neighborhood, attended Mary Our Queen together, spent the summers swimming at Prairie Lane Pool, played football in the park (by the creek), and I occasionally babysat for the LeClair family, as well. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen any of your family, since I’ve lived away from Nebraska for so long. Pat was a special guy, and I always liked him a lot! I'm sure he will be deeply missed!

Having just lost my mother, Faith, on October 30th, I certainly know the pain of losing a close family member. Please know that your family is in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Bill Rozmajzl

I first remember Pat in seventh grade basketball, when his team beat us for the championship that year. I finally got to meet him at Prep(I eventually got over losing that game) and got to know him a bit better. We didn't travel in the same circles, but when our paths did cross, we had a good time, cracking a joke or two.
When reunion time came, we'd catch up and reminisce a bit. Pat was always one of those guys that looking back, you'd wonder why you didn't spend more time with. He was genuinely a nice guy to be around and he had a lot of character. All of his classmates wish we could join him in one more round of golf and let him know we enjoyed having him around.

My condolances to the entire LeClair family and a host of friends who will miss him dearly. Pat was the kind of guy that made you feel like you were his only best friend and always had a great smile, joke or prank to keep you laughing. I am sorry for the loss. God Bless

I first met Pat playing basketball in 7th grade. He was at Mary Our Queen and I was at St Roberts. I remember seeing his long pretty boy blonde hair bounce up and down after sinking one of his corner jumpers. I then joined Pat at Prep and played baseball, basketball & football with him. He was an amazing athlete with an gifted strong arm for baseball and thunder foot for kicking a football. I really enjoyed his competiitive spirit and quick and witty humor. I am very sorry for your loss.

I was very sorry to hear of Pat passing away. I enjoyed the few minutes we had together at our 30th reunion and I remember with fond memories the time we had at Prep together. He always had a smile and a quick wit. He liked to laugh and make you laugh. May God be with his wife and family during this difficult time.

Pat and I met at Peony Park in 8th grade and went to Prep and UN-L together. He always was a pretty positive fun loving guy, though I haven't seen him much since our 25th Prep reunion. My thoughts for his kids and spouse and other survivors, as his time came much too early.

Pat and I were friends at Prep and then worked together at DLR after college. Pat was a great guy. I had really enjoyed catching up with him this summer at our thirty year reunion, and I was shocked and saddened to learn of your loss. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

My condolences to the entire LeClair family. Pat and I were very close as children. He was a good friend and your entire family was very good to me. Though I moved to California 20 years ago, the memories of our friendship last. May he find everlasting peace.
