Patrick Millea

1958 - 2025

Commander Patrick Joseph Millea,"Pat", passed away on November 6, 2025, surrounded by his family after a brief but intense battle with a rare blood cancer. He was born on December 20, 1958, in Sioux City, Iowa, to John and Nora (née Finn) Millea. He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and Denison, Iowa. He lived a life centered around service to others and selfless dedication to his wife and six children.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents and two of his five siblings: Mary Millea (1949) and Margaret Jo Millea (1955). He is survived by his devoted wife of forty-two years, Anne (née Willke) Millea, along with their six children: Francis (Chris) Millea, Joseph Millea, Margaret (Steven) Walsh, Elizabeth (Sean) Potter, Thomas (Megan) Millea, Daniel Millea, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his three siblings: David (Diane) Millea, Susan Millea (Nick Siegel), and Julie (Scott) Cobb, and their families.

Pat leaves behind a legacy of family and service. His compassion, humility, and Irish wit touched all those who were fortunate enough to know him and he will be greatly missed.
