Age 90. Lincoln, NE. Passed away peacefully at the Monarch. Dick had previously been residing at the Landing with his beloved wife Eloise. Dick was born in Superior, NE to John H. and Berth Howard Agee. Dick moved to Lincoln with his family at a young age. He attended Culver Military Academy, graduating in June 1941. After graduating he attended the University of Nebraska and then joined the Army Air Forces in April 1943. He served in China during WWII from June 1943 to August 1945. Dick married Eloise H. Rogers August 9, 1942. They lived in Omaha and later in Lincoln and were very active in their communities. Dick was Chairman and Director of First Bank and Trust in Minden, NE. Dick was President of the Huntington corporation. He developed the Huntington area which includes the Clock Tower property and surrounding residential area. Dick still owns the Clock Tower property. Dick was also President of the Rogers Foundation. Dick was a Lincoln native but also had residences in LaPointe, WI and Rancho Mirage, CA. Dick gave generously, both personally and through the Rogers Foundation, to the communities within which he resided as well as to the community of Minden, NE. Dick gave to many organizations in Lincoln and Lancaster county. Dick was a long time member of the Lincoln County Club and also a member of the University Club. Dick is survived by his wife, Eloise H. (Rogers) and son, Richard R. Agee. He leaves three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Agee of Lincoln, Cameron T. Agee of Lincoln, and Walker R. Agee of Gillette, WY; three great grandchildren, Jadyn L. Agee, Seth A. Hincker and Tessa N. Hincker all of Lincoln. Dick also leaves long time friend and comrade, Rex Marquart and long time friend and caregiver, Pauline Smith. Dick was preceded in death by his parents John H. and Bertha (Howard) Agee, brother Howard H. Agee, and daughter-in-law, Jane L. (Turner) Agee.
SERVICES will be held at Butherus, Maser and Love on Monday June 11, 2012 at 10:30am. VISITATION with the family will be held on Sunday 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the donors choice. BUTHERUS, MASER & LOVE

Many fond memories of the Agees on Madeline, and of Mr. Agee in particular. I know others of my family are chiming in, but here I extend my sympathies and prayers to the Agee family.
