Robert Yazowski Obituary
March 9, 1942 - May 17, 2025
Robert "Bob" Yazowski, born in 1942 in upstate New York, passed away on May 17, 2025. His loving wife Judy Yazowski predeceased him.
Bob made Bellevue his home for 45 years, stationed at Offutt Air Force Base where he retired from the military then continued his career in defense contracting. He was a proud alumnus of Colgate University and enjoyed volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, the Optimist Club, and other community organizations.
With a deep love for the theater, at the age of 75, Bob earned a degree in theater from Metropolitan Community College, a testament to his enduring curiosity and lifelong zest for learning. His adventurous spirit led him to travel to all seven continents and across the United States.
Bob is survived by his son John Yazowski of Bellevue; daughter Sharon Yazowski of Los Angeles; daughter and son-in-law Linda-Gail and Chris Hough and grandchildren James and William of Nashville. He is also survived by his sister Janice Yazowski.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Event Venue, located at 1308 Fort Crook Road S. in Bellevue.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Bluebarn Theatre.

It was an honor to care for Dr Bob for a short time!! I was new to his care team but the love and respect that everyone had for him made it evident that he was an amazing man!! My only regret is that I wish I had met him him sooner. You and your family definitely left an impression on me that will not be easily forgotten You will be missed!!

Dr. Bob , I´m going to miss you so much. I loved being your caregiver while you were here at Sommerfield Health Center. We would sing songs to each other every day and watch television. Snack time was a special moment we had with each other every day. You and your family will be missed. Dr. Bob you will always be in my heart.
