Roger Wilson Obituary
September 19, 1948 - August 6, 2025
Roger Colin Wilson, age 76, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away on August 6, 2025.
He was born on September 19, 1948, to Milo and Lucille Wilson. Lucille was told by doctors that continuing her pregnancy would result in a stroke, but she chose life for Roger. He died holding the hand of his wife of 54 years, Christine (Gallagher) Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; and granddaughter, Savannah.
Roger was a devoted husband and father to Robyn, Roger, Richelle, Rebecca, Regina, and Reggan. He was a loving grandpa to 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Roger was an active member of Corpus Christi Parish and volunteered at Gabriel's Corner Crisis Pregnancy Center. He also worked at Gallagher Bail Bonds.
WAKE SERVICE, Monday , August 11, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., followed by VISITATION with the family until 8:30 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi-Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 3304 4th Ave. INTERMENT: St. Joseph Cemetery with a lunch following at the parish hall.
Memorial contributions may be offered to the Micah House, 1415 Ave. J., Council Bluffs 51501.
