Scott Dale Johnson, age 69, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away in Omaha, on August 11, 2025.

Scott was born in Omaha, on July 26,1956, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1974. He proudly served his country in the US AirForce from 1975 to1979 and worked as a van driver for Encor Company. He was united in marriage to Gail Turner on August 6, 1998. Scott enjoyed the outdoors and outdoor activities, and was also interested in model trains.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Johnson; and mother, Patricia Weeks Johnson; brother, Kenneth Johnson.

Scott is survived by his wife, Gail, of Council Bluffs; sister-in-law, Beverly Johnson, of Council Bluffs; niece, Cammie Johnson; nephew, Matt Johnson; sister-in-law, Stephanie Turner, of Council Bluffs; niece, Jalen Slater; nephew, Ryan Turner; mother-in-law, Dorothy Turner, of Council Bluffs; and other extended family.

VISITATION: Thursday, 5 to 7 p.m. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, 10 a.m., all at Cutler O'Neill Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 3657 Ave. G, Council Bluffs.

INTERMENT: 2 p.m., at the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, IA. Memorials are suggested to Blessed Hope Baptist Church..
