Rosche, Dr. Staci L. (Lamberty)

Staci Lynn Rosche was born to Roger and Charleen (Hakel) Rosche, in Columbus, NE, on August 6, 1978. She attended Scotus Central Catholic High School, playing basketball and volleyball, in addition to running track. Staci played on multiple state championship teams and graduated with honors in 1997.

Following high school, Staci attended Briar Cliff University, where she was a four-year starter in volleyball, earning All-American and Academic All-American honors, including being named team MVP four consecutive years. Staci graduated summa cum laude in 2001, and was inducted into the Briar Cliff Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.

Staci also attended the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, receiving her Doctor of Medicine in 2005 and completing her board certification in Psychiatry in 2010. During her time at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and Lasting Hope Recovery Center, Staci received numerous awards, recognized by both peers and patients for her excellence.

After four years at Lasting Hope, Staci took a leap and started her own practice. She quickly built the practice and enjoyed great success.

Staci married Bob Lamberty on May 16, 2009, at Christ the King Church, in Omaha. She was an amazing mother to her sons, Kam (12) and Sam (8). They were her reason.

She lost her unrelenting battle with cancer on September 19, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Rosche; grandparents, Harry Rosche, Rudy Hakel, and Gertrude Hakel; in-laws, Larry and Elaine Lamberty; aunt, Joanie Rosche.

Staci is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Kam and Sam; parents, Bruce and Charleen Ebner; brothers, Matthew Rosche and Mitchell (Megan) Ebner; sister, Natalie (Jason) Christofferson; brother-in-law, Ben (Elizabeth) Lamberty; grandmother, Betty Rosche; six nephews; one niece; numerous aunts and uncles.

A VISITATION celebrating Staci's life will be held at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, from 4 to 7 p.m., on September 26th, followed by a VIGIL SERVICE at 7 p.m.

MEMORIAL MASS will be held at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, at 10:30 a.m., on September 27th, followed immediately by a fellowship luncheon.

Please direct donations and memorials to the family as they work to establish a scholarship for Nebraska Medicine students pursuing psychiatry as a specialty.
