Stanley Martin Obituary
July 31, 1937 - June 13, 2024
Born in Secor, IL, to Laura and Harold Martin, he served in the Army, and graduated from the University of Illinois. In 1973, he moved to Omaha with his family and was employed as a CPA for Union Pacific Railroad.
Survived by wife of 61 years, Karen. Also survived by son, Steven; daughter, Kathleen (Matthew) Martin, and their children, Benjamin, Samuel, and Abigail; and daughter, Kelly (Greg) Nelson, and their children, Lizzy and Andrew.
Stan was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and a niece. He loved his family, sports, gardening, fishing, and boating.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to: St. Luke United Methodist Church, Teen Center, or Hospice House.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, June 21st, at 1 p.m., at the West Center Chapel, with VISITATION one hour prior. INTERMENT will be at the Gridley, IL, Cemetery at a future date.

I wish to express my deepest condolences to the Martin Family for their loss. My father, son and myself fished many times with Stan, and the rest of the Martin boys, in both South Dakota and Canada. We had many enjoyable trips and Stan was an avid and dedicate fisherman, who always wanted to get out on the water and enjoy the time. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
