Thomas V. Bequette was born July 16, 1975, in Omaha, to Thomas L. Bequette and Leanna (nee Meyers) Baratta.
He died September 7, 2025.
Tom enjoyed watching monster truck races and Nascar. He enjoyed listening to music and loved playing video games. The family would like to thank the staff from Trusted Life Choices (Key Home Care) for their endless compassion, dedication and advocacy in Tom's care, with special gratitude to Sandy, Tiffany and Tara. We would also like to thank the Omaha Fire & Rescue Dept., Station 42, for their assistance many, many times.
Tom is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Thomas; stepfather, Robert J. Baratta; and by his grandparents, Victor and Frances Meyers, Jerry Bequette, Ramona Woolard.
He is survived by his mother, Leanna Baratta; his father and stepmother, Thomas L. and Mary Bequette; his siblings, Tracy Bequette, Bobby (Jamie) Baratta, Danyelle Baratta, Dana Baratta Koch and Jody (Lorrie) Brott and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
VISITATION: Friday, September 12, 2025, at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak and Cutler Mortuaries, 7805 W. Center Road, from 10 a.m., until the time of FUNERAL at 11 a.m. ENTOMBMENT: Calvary Cemetery.

Please accept my condolences to Tom´s entire family. I´m a member of Saint James Parish and had the opportunity to bring Holy Communion to Tom many times. Although he wasn´t my regular assigned person (Communion once a month), I did enjoy visiting with him and his care taker many times over the past several years. He was always appreciative of our visits and Communion that he received. He truly believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
