Omaha. Died peacefully with his loving daughter by his side on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Born in West Point, Nebraska. Retired manager of Washington County Cattle Company. 1972 graduate of Pius X High School. Graduate of UNL Ag College. Survived by daughter, Teresa (Jason) Smith of Lincoln; sisters, Joanne (Kim) Bennett of Duluth, Minnesota and Jane (Rocke) Loken of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Becky Grosserode of Omaha and Joann Grosserode of Lincoln; nieces and nephews; former wife, Mary Grosserode of Omaha. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy; brothers, David and John; and nephew Matt.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 1pm Saturday, February 23, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1940 South 77th Street, Monsignor Liam Barr. Rosary 7pm Friday at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street. Burial Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to YMCA Camp Kitaki. VISITATION after 5pm Thursday at funeral home. BUTHERUS, MASER & LOVE

My prayers are with Tom's family. He was a kind, gentle and loving man who will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with Tom's daughter and family at this time. He was such a wonderful friend and he will be missed so much. I have such fabulous memories of this man and his unique sense of humor and how he looked at life. Tom and Sharon Baarsch
