I always admired Tim's can do attitude and easy going nature. He always came through in a bind on anything. It was disappointing to see him leave the ABL program, and I was shocked to hear of his passing. You'll be missed.

Tim, you were a good man. We only worked on the same project (ABL) but I know that the successes felt by this program so far were in large part of your efforts in all of its early days. You will be greatly missed on this earth, hope to see you again in Heaven. I pray for peace and happiness for your family.

I was deeply saddened to hear that Tim, our friend, Boeing co-worker, and former Rosamond neighbor, had passed away. Since our Edwards work areas were right next to each other, for many years I saw Tim's great work ethic and "can do" spirit first hand. I also enjoyed our shared common interests of Constuction, Stocks, Kern County Real Estate, and Casinos. (and a few drinks now & then!!) The last time we shared his laughs, smile, and goodbyes, was at Coaches in Rosamond, when he was leaving the Antelope Valley to head off to his new job & life in Colorado. Tim, you will be missed. May God Bless You, Your Family, and Your Friends, in this time of sorrow.

Hello Daddy. I miss you so much. You always knew how to make me smile. I remember one day you ran up the hill to get me and rushed me down to feed the chipmunks out of my hand. You were so excited! I mean who can train a wild chipmunk to eat out of their hand… only you daddy. Thank you for surprising me with that special song on our father daughter dance. "You are so beautiful” It was the perfect song. Daddy I wish you could be here to dance with me one last time. It would mean the world to me. Remember last Christmas when I was so very sick. You made me soup and grilled cheese to make me feel better. No one can make grilled cheese and homemade chicken noodle soup like you. You hold a very special place in my heart daddy. I love you and will carry you with me everywhere I go. First stop... Home Depot!

Tim - I lost track of you and a lot of other people when I started moving around about four years ago, but I'll never forget working with you at Edwards...the pleasant, always cheerful person you are - and that quick wit! It's people like you that made work enjoyable, we'll all miss you more than words can express. Take care buddy, be seein' ya soon.

Tim and Family,

I only got to see you a few times after you left Connecticut as a baby with our Mom, Nellie Mae. I was ten years old at the time and you were the pefect smily, happy, easy to please baby. After reading this guest book, you stayed smily, and positive your whole short life. I am glad we stayed in touch over the years and will always remember your trip to LA to buy me some small violins for some of my students.
I am very grateful to Carole and Gary Thrasher who "looked after", guided, and supported your emotional needs after our Mom Nellie Mae died at age 49.
My husband Peter and one of our daughters, Holly were fortunate enough to be with you recently. You were such an upbeat, welcoming person. They
share my sadness.

We will always remember Tim and his generosity towards us. He was quite a brother-in-law! He always welcomed us to his home and really went all out for us. We will remember the great food (deep fried Turkey and catfish were pretty memorable!) and his friendly spirit. We were so sorry to learn of his passing and we will always have great memories about Tim. Whenever Nebraska plays, we will think of Tim!

October 13, 2006

Tim, I will remember you forever and I will always miss you! Every time I sit on the patio or walk through the entryway you created at my house, you are there!
We go back over 20 years and so many memories. How could you not love a guy that has a huge smile, loved life and never failed to say "Heah Good Looking!" every time you saw him. You were around when Steven & I first started dating; we'd all go out as a group after work...what fun.
The last time I saw you we said "good-bye" at your going away party that you so graciously paid for when you left for Colorado. I still can't believe that was our final "good-bye" on this earth. Take care, rest well and we will see you again....

Tim,
It's true when they say "the good die young". The difference you made in people's lives will now be rewarded in heaven, The Big Cabin in the Sky, (your new home). Thank you for touching my life and making me feel at home when I first came to Edwards, AFB. Your kindness and generosity will always live in my memory. You are surely one of God's favorites because you brought so much happiness and kindness to so many people and animals. I can picture the Lord saying, "This man has done his job, it's time for Tim to come home". No wonder you were born on Valentine's Day, you were LOVE in human form. I am already missing you. Just one favor I ask of you, put in a good word for me with the "Big Boss". Love, Carmen

Tim – well, we never did solve that “vortex shedding” problem. Perhaps someday we’ll reconvene and figure out what our boss really wanted… Thanks for the laughs, the memories and the golf cart. Nice job on keeping the nickname “Chico” a secret from, at least, me.

God speed, my friend. We’ll carry the torch down here.

October 13, 2006

I remember Tim's smile with the little chuckle and the mischievous look in his eyes. I always told him that I bet he was a handful for his Mother. Of course my statements meant no harm and he always chuckled more when I said it as if to affirm my suspicions. Tim is Missed and I am sorry for the pain you must feel with his passing. Much Love and Continued Prayer.

Tim,
Geez Tim, I was hoping to see you again. It was an absolute pleasure knowing you and being able to call you my brother in law. I have a ton of great, warm memories being with you, sharing a laugh over a beer and BBQ. I was so thankful that you took me to Nebraska in '93 and showed me your home turf. That was a great fun time. I will always remember all of the great holidays over at your and Kathy's houses. How you could whip up the best, most tasty meals seemingly so effortlessly and which such aplomb was amazing to me. You were always so welcoming and I will always remember how you would greet me with a smile and a beer and you could always so easily make me laugh. Your way with the wild animals was amazing as well. How you could just give a little whistle and have the entire desert landscape instantly come alive with all of your animal friends was something I absolutely will never forget and will tell about for the rest of my days. Oh and when you would visit your neighbors Carl and Torchy and all of their animals--including the turtles--would come running out toward you at just the sight of your truck! Funny! Dangit Tim, I was hoping to see you again. How about this: When I make it up there, can you meet me there with that smile and that beer?

Reading through this guest book, it makes me happy to see you've touched so many lives with your generosity, humor, and zest for life. I always have and will continue to smile every time I think of you. You will be greatly missed. My condolences and prayers to your family.

We worked, socialized and roomed together, and you stood beside me for Gloria's and my wedding. It's a little late to say "Thanks for everything", but I know what you would have just said, "We need another bottle of Emmets".

As everyone knows, Tim loved to cook. But, what he liked to make best was "Burned Chicken on the Grill" and fresh fish, when we had them, with a cold one in hand.

You were one of a kind Tim, and we will miss you.

Our deepest condolences to all your friends and family.

October 6, 2006

Tim, you’ve always been such a good friend and coworker for the over 20 years we’ve known each other. We worked on more programs then I can remember and you’ve always found a way to get the job done, and sometimes even by the rules. Your talents helped bring in millions of dollars in business to the company. We’ve spent many hours on road trips and we always ended up having a good time. Besides work you were a great friend. I miss the many hours we spent having a cold one and talking over life, projects, sports, building and whatever else. It was a big loss when you moved to CO but chatting by phone and email was nice to be able to stay in touch, and I was looking forward to tagging up at your new house in spring. I’ve lost a best friend and will miss you and your sincere friendship. My prayers are with your family and friends as we all grieve this great loss. I can’t imagine not being able to talk with you. Keep thinking if I send an email to you you’ll reply. God rest your soul my good friend. I will always remember you as the great person you are.

My heart is heavy. It's hard to make sense out of the ending of someone we loved. I hadn't talked with "the Professor" in a couple of months, but I can close my eyes and relive the many good times I had with him. I am fortunate to have had the time I did with Tim. Tim had a unique way of putting all folks on the same plane. No one was better because of money they had, or worse because they didn't have much. His respect of people was constant. I'm gonna miss my friend during college football season the most. (Go Huskers) God Bless, all his family and many friends. Love, ROB

20 years ago, Tim and I were bottom of the totem pole paper pushers on the B-1. We carpooled-- I drove, he slept on the floor in back 'til I woke him up when we got to work. (You know, I bet he's laughing right now and claiming that I have our roles reversed, and he may be right for a couple of those days.)
We miss ya, Professor.

Thanks buddy for being my friend, who always thought of others first. Who would show up at my door Saturday morning with hotdogs & chips (for me) and refreshment (for us) to talk about college football (Nebraska). God Bless You Tim.

To Chico's family and friends -- I knew Chico many years ago (part of elementary, junior and part of senior high) and was deeply saddened to learn of his sudden death. He was a sweetie. Tim, the Professor too many, will never be forgotten. He was a good friend, co-worker and confidant. I only wish that I had one more chance to tell him how I feel, but somehow I believe he already knows.

To Tim and Family,

I will always cherish the times we were able to spend together through work and play over the last 15 plus years. I will always remember the stories and fun times we had on our annual fishing trips. I’ll remember the times when you would venture off into the woods at the inlet of Convict Lake to fish the streams. You always come back with fish. It never mattered that they were four or five inches long. We would always tease you that you were netting them. I’ll remember the times when you would skipper the boat. Every time we would get our lines in the water you would say it was time to move. We would threaten to throw you in. You never could stay still. I’ll also miss the razzing we were able to give you the last few years about Nebraska football. We always waited for them to turn it around. Most of all I will remember the dinner we had in Honolulu a couple months back. The big steaks! It was the most relaxed and happy I can honestly say I had ever seen you. Tim, you were one of the good ones that left us all too soon! You will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

May God bless your soul a thousand times over!

I first met Tim when I worked on the ABL Program at Edwards AFB. Tim was working for Scott Tercy and I was supporting their group. I remember that I once told Tim and Scott that they were like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Tim assumed he was Paul Newmann and not the handsome one, I let him know that I thought Paul Newman was much better looking than Robert Redford! lol Tim treated me like family. He was always there for me and helped me in locating a rental house in Rosamond. Tim and Scott would frequently give me a ride to work when my car would have its continual issues. I loved them both like brothers, they are the real deal and you could always depend on them to do what they said they would do. Tim would do anything for you, he was truly one of those special people you meet in your life, whom you will never forget. God Bless You Tim, may the Lord take you in his arms and lead you into the gates of Heaven where you most definately belong !
