Warren Bartels Obituary
IA on 3/29/18 to Emma and Grover Bartels and graduated from the Manning High School. Warren served in US Navy during WWII on the Mount Vernon. He was a member of the VFW, Pinto Association, and the Pony Express. He was also Trail Boss of River City Round-Up and given the key to the city of Omaha on 9/26/82. He is survived in death by Lonnie Bartels and family, Des Moines, IA, Greg Bartels and family, MN, Kathy Peterson and family, Minneapolis, MN, John Bartels and family, Norfolk, VA, Bonnie Villont, Omaha, Tom McCulloch, AR; granddaughter, Janelle "Nellie Bell" Eckes and family, Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
There will be a Memorial BBQ (pot luck) in Warren's honor on Tues., 5/8/07, at 5 PM at 23153 Crawford Lane, Council Bluffs. Viewing will be 11 AM to 1 PM Wed. 5/9/07, with Services following at 1 PM at Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Manning, IA and anyone is welcome to join.
