William George Mikan aged 83, of Carter Lake, LA. passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, in Bellevue, NE. He was born in Fremont, NE., on October 8, 1941. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Mikan, as well as his parents Sylvester Mikan and Jean Black. He is survived by his daughter Annette Troshynski; his son William Mikan Jr. (spouse Renee); stepdaughters Kimberly Orr, CarrieAnne Langdon (spouse Ken), and Katie Slusher; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held January 3, 2025 at Carter Lake United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m.
