Eleanor Neville Seitz

Eleanor (Ellie) Neville Seitz, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2023. Ellie was born in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College and spent her early career as a teacher in Syosset, NY. In 1969 she married Robert (Bob) B. Seitz and moved to Oneida, NY. Ellie was a homemaker and an active member of the Oneida Community and Saint Patrick's Catholic Church.An entrepreneur, Ellie opened The Vault at Syracuse; a record storage company where she served as the president until selling the company in the late 1990s. After selling her business, Ellie moved to Arizona and has enjoyed winters without snow. Ellie had a passion for travel, reading, fine cuisine, and gourmet cooking. She was known for her compassion and devotion to those she loved.Ellie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert (Bob) Seitz and her brother Michael (Mike) Neville. She is survived by her sons Bob (Colleen), Ted and Drew; daughter Tina (Mike) Hearty; her sister, Anne Carolan; brother, Ed Neville and numerous nieces and nephews. Ellie loved her five grandchildren, Emily and Evan Hearty, Tyler, Riley and Brooklyn Seitz. Ellie will be laid to rest with her husband in Arizona.
