Eugene Catello Obituary

ONEIDA >> Eugene F. Catello, 63, of 410 E. Walnut St., entered into God's hands, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, with his loving family at his side. He was born Oct. 29, 1949, the son of Paul J. and Marie Teal Catello.
On Sept. 29, 1984, he was united in marriage to the former Deborah Warner. He had been employed in maintenance for the Oneida Ltd. Country Club. He retired in 2002. He was veteran, having served four years with the U.S. Air Force, from 1969 to 1973. Surviving are, his wife Deborah of Oneida; four daughters, Wendy Sue Catello of Oneida, Lenora Catello of Oneida, Melanie and Andrew Catello of Vernon and Faith Marie and Jeremy Winn of Oneida; four brothers, Paul and Janet Catello of Verona, Joseph and Julie Catello of Rome, Dale and Theresa Catello of Sylvan Beach, Tim and Liza Catello of Munnsville; three sisters, Debbie and Ells Boyles of Clockville, Judy and Greg Griffo of Rome and Anita and Richard Hill of Rome; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced at the Verona Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sue Selden, pastor, officiating. Interment will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, Oneida,N.Y., 363-2650.
