Grace "Mickie" Graham

Grace 'Mickie' Graham, 90, of Swamp Rd., Peterboro, NY passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, with her family by her side.She was born on March 10, 1932, in Succasunna, NJ, a daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Jewell) O'Connell. On January 15, 1956, in New Jersey, Grace was united in marriage to Richard W. Graham.She received her high school education in New Jersey and her degree in nursing as an LPN from Rochester School of Nursing. Mickie worked at the Gerrit Smith Infirmary for many years until her retirement.She was a former member of the Peterboro United Methodist Church and was a member of the Smithfield Fire Department Auxiliary, where she served as a past president. She enjoyed playing bingo and being surrounded by her family.Mickie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard, children; Ronald (Kathleen) Graham of Peterboro, Donna (Charles) Jones of Cazenovia, Barbara (Paul) Doroshenko of Morrisville, Cindy (Brian) Thayer of Morrisville and Amy Graham of Peterboro; a brother, Jack O'Connell of Sebring, FL., 10 grandchildren, Jesse (JoAnn) Jones, Jason (Tiffany) Jones, Currina (Jay) Stone, Lynette (Jeff) Phillips, Jeremy (Rina) Doroshenko, Jennifer (Adam) Parsells, Shane Doroshenko, Jordan (Meagan) Doroshenko, Jared (Jessica) Thayer, Justin (Kaitlyn) Thayer; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Michael R.
