Sheldon Bartlett Obituary
He was born Jan. 27, 1930 in Pratts Hollow, one of 13 children of Guy E. and Eveline Morrow Bartlett and received his education in Stockbridge schools. On Oct. 27, 1951, Sheldon married Beverly Heidel in Waterville. Sheldon was a dairy farmer his entire life. He was a dedicated family man who was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed many sports including snowmobiling, golf and bowling.
Sheldon was a member of the Pratts Hollow United Methodist Church, the Odd Fellow Prosperity Lodge in Munnsville, and the Darilea Association.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Lou and Craig Jackson of Pratts Hollow and Catherine DeSimone of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Patti Bartlett of Cary, N.C., Dave and Shelia Bartlett and Steven and Christina Bartlett, all of Pratts Hollow; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nettie Grabow of Sherrill, Fern and Harry Major of Wampsville, Norene and Gerry McIntosh of LaFargeville; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six brothers, Robert, Archie, Perry, Donald, Richard and Ralph Bartlett; and three sisters, Hazel Murrell, Violet Bartlett and Gladys Kratzer.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar St., Morrisville.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. prior to the service.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the Pratts Hollow United Methodist Church or to a fire department of your choice.

So sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of visiting the farm back when I was a young kid. I'm so glad that Mom and I came over to visit uncle Shelly and Aunt Bev not to long ago. My heart goes out to Aunt Bev and my Cousins.
