Terrie Lanz Obituary
Born in Oneida, on April 26, 1961, he was the son of George and La Wanda Mowers Lanz, A lifelong resident of Oneida, Terrie was a graduate of the Oneida High School, Class of 1979. He married Ronda Hatch in Plymouth Church, Sherrill on October 5, 1991.
For over twenty-six years, Terrie was employed in the pressroom of the Oneida Daily Dispatch and later with H.P. Hood, Inc. He was a member of the Order of the Owls, Oneida Nest # 1606 and the Sons of the American Legion, Sherrill Post # 230 and pitched in the Spadafora Softball League for many years. Terrie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in his backyard.
Surviving are his wife, Ronda; his daughter, Emilee J. Lanz of Oneida; his son, Eric T. Lanz of Jersey City, New Jersey; three sisters, Kellie Highers and her husband, Will of Oneida, Dawn Lanz of Sylvan Beach and Teddie Sue Harp and her husband, Dennis of Blossvale; his brother, Keith Lanz of Sebastian, Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by twin babies, Kory and Alysia Lanz.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida, with the Reverend Nick Smith, officiating. Interment will be made in Oneida Castle Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 1-5 PM, Sunday. To leave a message of condolence, visit www.campbell-dean.com.
