Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at New Freedom Christian Center, 695 Vine St, Athens, GA with interment in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Public viewing, Monday, 1-7 PM, at the funeral home.
Survivors include: sons, Michael (Cynthia) Walker, Elliot (Tracey) Walker, Marvin Walker and Aaron (Kiva) Walker; daughters, Carmen (Andra) Bailey and Tonya (Isiah) Ricks; sisters, Doris Jean Casey and Gloria Fears; sister in law, Marva Walker; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

To the Walker Family. My prayers and love are extended to you as you observe Asa's Homegoing. His sojourn on earth was filled with lots of love, laughter and trials. He was an awesome journeyman in his craft and had a unique love for books, sports and all things political. I'll cherish my time with him as a faithful brother in law and friend.
